More Mother's Day Madness

ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTYYYYY!

Wooo! So, during the week of Mother's Day, literally all of Cochabamba is celebrating and preparing to honor mothers. As you can imagine, this can affect our kids  - especially during the school day as they are supposed to be drawing pictures of Mom, making presents for Mom, etc, etc. Around Mother's Day and Father's Day, I notice that we have lots of interesting conversations about parents/families/etc. Friday was the grand finale, and so in honor of the end of Mother's Day, we wanted to celebrate with our kids with something that would take their minds completely off of everything else from the week before. And the best way to do that is obviously with ice cream and lots of gummi bears.

But oh my WORDDDD this boy wins the dance-off. Here's his routine: he stands at the head of the table completely still, "I'M A SOLDIER."

Hahaaaaa - he did it only about 40 times, each of which the other dozen kids, (and tias,) just about peed ourselves.
