Slumber Party Sillies

We've got a bunch of 3-4 year old girls who, when together, know how to have a good time!

The other weekend I had some cake-baking assistants here at House 1...but cake-baking and bedtime don't really go hand-in-hand. (Who knew?)

These 3 had the giggles...and kept cracking me up, too.

Pajama Party

Brownie batter and best friends = sweet dreams for sure!

Ohhhhh yeahhhhh! One of my favorite L-7's just spent a week here in Bolivia with us...y'all have no clue how excited I was to welcome my first UVA visitor to Casa de Amor. We had a countdown going on, that's for sure. I don't think a week has ever passed by so quickly, but I'm thankful for every second!

We did a little exploring...

...and a LOT of playing with kids!!

...this crazy 5-year-old could kind of say, "Roll Tide?"

For anyone that's been in my room here, you'll appreciate almost as much as I did that this crazy wonderful friend helped me get my room organized...and even took on La Cancha on her own to surprise us with these:
You brightened up the week for sure, girl.

Thank you so much for coming all the way down here to see us...make sure you get back here soon to use that little extra Aerosur credit! I LOVE YOU, BAMA!

A Special Visitor/Crowd Control

Big of my best friends from college, the one and only Elizabeth Alabama Mills, or Tia Bama, has made her way to Bolivia!! So pumped, you can't even imagine. I don't have pictures yet, mostly because she's worked her tail off since stepping off the plane, but I'll leave you with an idea of just how incredible it is having her here: Here is a picture of the small army she helped keep in line this Sunday at church!

More news on this legend to come. :)

Party Pics

 Fiesta of the Year!
Nataly in her baptism dress

The triplets' baptism, (with their mother and godparents.)

The party was held at a beautiful resort that is owned by the triplets' godparents. They have been unbelievably generous to these three little girls and to the rest of our CDA kids, as well.

Some of the other party guests:

These guys loved every minute of Party Day...especially goofing around with the clown!

Some other party guests...our 3 "fake" triplets! (Just our 3 youngest in the baby home - they apparently thought it was a Triplets Costume Party?)

Hello, "Espeeeder Man!"

Our Triplets - A Year In Photos!

These three tiny girls...

...turn 1 today!!!!
Happy 1st Birthday, Nicole, Alison, and Nataly!

I cannot believe that it has been a year since the "Trillizas de Oro" ("Golden Triplets?!") as they are known in Cochabamba, were born. What a year it has been! How lucky were we at Casa de Amor to have the privilege of taking care of these three sweethearts? Here are a bunch of pictures from maybe the most-photographed-babies ever.

Triplet #1...Nicole!

When I think of the triplets, I will always first picture them just like this!

1st month in the NICU

Leaving the hospital!

Welcome home, babies! Meeting the rest of the gang.

We. Hate. Feeding Tubes.

1 Month Birthday - (quite the party. they stayed up all night.)

Bath time!

They gave us quite the scare their first month in!

...apparently it was mutual.

Team Nightshift! Jen, Elena, and I got to take on nights with the 3 AND we each have our "own" triplet!

Best Wisemen EVER.

It's very bittersweet to say that our triplets won't be at the Baby House much longer...very soon they will get to go home with their birth mom, who has learned to take care of them over the past several months. So happy for these girls!

We love you, trips!
