We all can relate to the boredom that can appear midway through the semester at school...
Problem solved.
Our kids at House 1 and House 2 go to different schools, and last week, both school celebrated their respective anniveraries or "birthdays." (How do both schools have anniveraries right in the middle of the school year? No clue.) But throw in some medicine-man costumes, all sorts of crazy dances, and a LOT of paintings of the kids' schools, and you've got yourself some pretty entertaining celebrations.
There was quite the array of clowns...this one isn't one of our kids, but he sure was cute.
More cute clowns...
...and then this one. I think we can all agree that the sad face here may have something to do with the clown costume his mom came up with.
Clown or midget-sized female newscaster? Who really knows?
Every kid in both schools had to make a picture of their school building to display during the anniversaries. The preschool class had a project that looked a little something like this:
One of our dear student's detailed work: haaaa
We had traditional dances...
(His big sister's cheering in the background...ha)
...and not-so-traditional dances!
Our pre-k kiddos...
...transformed into chickens!
Definitely my favorite dance.
We love our little chickadees!
I'd taken a mouthful of water, I read this post, the water came out of my nose... It was worth it. Please tell me they got to keep the chicken outfits?!
ReplyDeleteHehe, Savannah does have that knack! Let's face it Liz: the REAL reason I don't blog anymore is because Sav does it SO much better!! :)
