CUATROOOOO!

I'm FOUR years old now!

On Tuesday, the Mr. Personality of the Baby Home celebrated his 4th birthday. It was quite the day, since his birthday also falls on Dia Del Nino. ("Kids' Day" is a huge holiday in Bolivia!) Lucky for him, this signifies that his birthday is always full of his favorite activity....EATING!

Just for kicks, here is the birthday boy and his little sister this time last year. He's grown up on us!

Ready to host...a POOL PARTY!

Could hardly contain his excitement...he started asking from the minute he woke up when we were getting in the pool!

Midway through the afternoon, the birthday boy came up to me and asks, "Tia Savanita, is it still my birthday?" "Yes..." I answered.

"Well. NO ONE has even sung to me!!"

Easy tiger...we just hadn't gotten there yet!

His birthday request the day before had been to celebrate with this little girl, his same age, who last year lived with us at the Baby Home. She's now at House 2 with her big sister, but the two were inseparable when they were both here.

We ended the night watching a little Scooby Doo, in Scooby Doo pajamas...dream come true.
