If I'm not working, chances are I'm at the language center downtown...either taking classes or having a little fun with a lot of friends who study or teach there, too!
What do you know...classes start at 8...and there's not a single professor in the building. shocker.
Not staged at all. Obviously we were learning the letter L written on the board.
New school mascot? HA - my friend Mateo, who works at a boys' home, is bringing a puppy to live at the home. The last puppy that the home tried to have miiiight have died, so until this puppy gets a little bit bigger, she gets to come to school every day. Meet Lola Lolita.
2 squirts from my house got to babysit :)
The puppy only fell off of the couch one time under their care...
Decorating with what other theme than Michael Jackson?
We freakin LOVE learning with Monje!
Rechy, too.
Dr. Lauren Spears? No...just the 2 greatest profes ashamed of their golden thong pictures?
High time we got to trash some charts, too.
So cultured. Sooo cultured.
HAPPY JAPAN DAY
Somebody might have gotten locked out of the school. Somebody being the director of the school.
...which is fine, because we had more important things to get done inside.
so wave yo flag
a little blindfolding/dress-up surprise for our 2 directoras, who are obviously big fans of Dia de Japon.
The picture that started it all.
Wondering what's happening.
Hard to put shoes on when you're not allowed to open your eyes.
Open your eyes - supriiiiiiiiiise! Gorgeous.
Lauren Spears? Again, false alarm. But close.
Some other Thursday morning students/staff join in on the fun that is Dia de Japon.
Koneechiwa, Japanese friends OR The Joker - you decide.
Little did we know that payback was coming our way. That same afternoon...
Who knew that we were going to have a surprise going-away party...and that we'd be dressed as the Flinstones?
Flinstones, Japan, ice cream...it doesn't get much better, amigos.
Some of our calmer party guests?
The laughs never end.
Last day of "classes." AKA put us on the schedule and then all of us leave for breakfast.
As much fun as we had throughout the year at our school, I can't imagine my spanish without taking classes. And I can't imagine living in Cochabamba without the friends and family who I met here.
Seriously some of my favorite people in the entire world.
