Saturday at the Park

After surviving their first week back at school, our 4 oldest boys headed to the park to run wild for a little while this weekend. I think during this time they proved that rolling down a hill never gets boring. An hour later...still. not. boring.

Taking in such a beautiful day?

Unfortunately, that afternoon, I proved to be a huge disappointment to all 4 boys. They had big, incredible plans for the afternoon; you see, they had found this tunnel. So their minds began running...something like this:
*There is a dark tunnel.
*The cats at our house have eyes that light up when it's dark out.
*Tia Savannah's eyes are blue.
*Her eyes will definitely start to glow as soon as we get her into the tunnel.

Strangely enough, my eyes did not began to light up like a cat at night. So sorry to disappoint. (However, the whole time we were in the tunnel,  the youngest of the bunch had his hands around his eyes like goggles and kept on asking us if nowwwww his eyes were lighting up?!)

Right as we were leaving, this punk asked me if, before we leave, can he please do something really nice for me? I didn't know what he was talking about, so suspiciously I said yes...

...turns out my suspicions were right. His gift to me - doing the monkey bars. Such incredible generosity. Thank you so much!!!!

Ending the day with burgers for 4 tired boys!
