It's that time of year...dreaming of sugarplums...or at at least just of SUGAR!
.'Tis the season for baking, and lots of it! Our group of volunteers looooves baking sweet treats for the kiddos, and we've been taking advantage of the Christmas season to do just that.
We've had pancake breakfasts...
...decorated sugar cookies...
...with lots of icing...
...and my personal favorite: making gingerbread houses without gingerbread!
Hello, poptarts and chocolate bars. (Nothing for gingerbread, but the store did have poptarts. go figure.)
