Happy 5th Birthday!
Yesterday, our oldest at the Baby Home turned 5!
It was a bittersweet day, as yesterday, she and her little sister moved to House 2 with the big kids. There's no exact formula for when kids move from the Baby Home up to House 2 - it really just depends on space in each house. With recent adoptions and the fact that the older sister will start kindergarten this year, now's the time for these two to make the adjustment. We've been working toward this move for a couple of months now with regular visits to House 2, as the little sister isn't the most adaptable child to change. The kids at House 2, (a few of which lived here at the Baby Home with the sisters a while back,) were very excited to welcome the girls.

Tia Rosi is the little sister's absolutely most-adored tia. She, especially, was sad to say good-byes yesterday.

It's amazing how empty our house full of babies feels if just one child leaves. We miss these two girls around the house already! We also had a birthday party over the weekend with the sisters and the girls of House 2 - I'll get pictures up soon.
