Last weekend we had our school Christmas party at Mauge's house! For me, it was the first time that it's really felt a lot like Christmas here, with all of the differences that a Cochabamba Christmas brings.

We shared a huge dinner with all sorts of traditional Christmas foods from all of our different home countries, and then we had a carol sing-along. I really missed my RUF buddies joining in on "O Holy Night." I'm guessing that this year it sounded a little better at large group since we graduated?

Surprise! I had a tag-along at the party... this House 2 cutie had a meeting at House 1, (which was cancelled for the 2nd time...but that's a different story...) so instead of making the trek to drive her home before the party, she just got to come along. I think the balloon animals and dessert table were both big hits for her!
Can't believe Christmas is this week!
excuse me, without my rendition of 'o holy night' i doubt they will even choose to perform it at ruf this year
