Adoption!

This little chunk came to us at about 4 months old with a history of child abuse...his medical history included broken ribs, seizures, and internal bleeding to name a few. You can check out a little bit more of his story here: http://hogardeamor.blogspot.com/2008/08/and-another-baby.html

Since that time, he has grown into a bright, chipper almost-3-year-old...and he just went home with our very own Tia Maria! I don't think I've seen an adoption yet when the child went SO excitedly with a new parent. Obviously, Tia Maria and her new son go back a ways, and so it's been fun to share the excitement as these two anticipated his homecoming.

What I will miss most...this boy's RUN! He waddles and picks his knees up to his shoulders when he runs...it is absolutely hilarious.
