In September of last year, we welcomed a newborn baby girl into the Baby Home. She had been left on the doorsteps of a nearby church, as her birth mother thought that the church had a children's home inside. In reality, the church's home is for adults, and so a group of nuns who had cared for the baby for a few days dropped her off with us. The same week, we had welcomed in two other tiny infants...Jen took care of Santiago, the tias had Fabiola, and so lucky me got to take care of this sweet girl!
