Mother's Day in Bolivia

May 27th is Mother's Day in Bolivia...and it's huge. During the week of Mother's Day, the schools put on several programs, dances, meals, etc, etc. We make sure that each kid has somebody that loves them going with them to their classes' events. Between celebrations and dinners at 3 schools plus Casa de Amor's own festivities, we are now just about Mother's-Dayed-out!

House 1 pre-school... can you spot all 4 CDA kids here? :)

House 2 school luncheon

Watching the dances

Casa de Amor program...while cake baking, I had some very helpful assistants in the dining room.

Gotta make sure the whipped cream is up to par.

SKITS. Beautiful times.

How are Mama Kristin and I doing with each of our babies, you might be asking? Let's ask the babies!
Obviously, the good times just don't stop.

Seriously, we are loving just about every minute with our newest roommates. Kristin has even learned to embrace the hour between 4 and 5 in the morning...Gilmer's favorite time to party/scream for no reason.

Really, how could we not be loving this??

OHMYGOSHHH lovin' life!

1 week old
